During the June meeting, our KSC Board of School Trustees honored Vincente Lorenz, as the Indiana State Teachers Association (ISTA) 2025 Hoosier Educator of the Year!
KHS Vice Principal Jonathan Rogers remarked on Mr. Lorenz’s commitment to care for both his subject and his students, noting how he effectively balances loving the lesson with lithifying the learner, setting a strong example for all professional educators.
By engaging students in subjects like geology, astronomy, and earth sciences, and guiding them toward success in Advanced Placement and Dual Credit courses—earning free college credits while in high school at KHS—Mr. Lorenz truly rocks
