    Bio:

I am a Purdue graduate but have also taken classes, for license renewal, from IU Kokomo, IU PUI, Butler, Indiana Wesleyan, and University of Phoenix. I am an only child and really enjoy spending time with my parents. They spend the winter in Phoenix, Arizona. I get to drive them out on our fall break, visit for Christmas, visit for Easter, and drive them back to Kokomo when school ends. I love to drive, fly, and travel so the arrangement works out really well for me. I own my own business with my mom. We do antique shows, collector shows, and doll and toy shows all over the United States. I have been lucky enough to exhibit in Florida, New York, Washington State, California, and most states in between. I love all animals but if forced to choose would say horses are my very favorite. I get to attend Breyerfest every year in Lexington, Kentucky at The Horse Park. There is nowhere like it if you love horses. I also belong to United Federation of Doll Clubs. They hold their convention in a different state each year which is FANTASTIC. I always meet new people and get to see sights that would not be possible otherwise. I belong to Faith Presbyterian Church in Kokomo and visit Palo Alto Presbyterian in Arizona. In 2000 I moved to Kokomo to be closer to my parents and became a KCS employee. I had been with Cross Roads in Fort Lauderdale, Florida which was a private school for ADD and ADHD boys. It was a residential program with students from around the world and started at $40,000 per student. I had parents fly into meet with me. My wake-up call was my 1st ACR where the mother lived 2 blocks away and stood me up 3 times. My best day was in September and my father was going on the Honor Flight. Every 8th grader either wrote him a letter or drew him a picture to celebrate his trip. My dad was being honored for World War II but I was honored to work with awesome students. Every day is different; some more fun than others, but I am always blessed to be a teacher.
